Is Affiliate Project X for you?
As stated in a previous post on this blog I have purchased Project X and have now read it from cover to cover (so to speak). I have also taken some time to take a look at some of the comments that other people have made about Project X across the web and blogosphere.
Project X is written by the author of Adwords Miracles which was published in April 2006.
Affiliate Project X is structured into 3 sections. These are as follows:
1) Welcome to Affiliate Project X
Always a good place to start
This openening section is a brief (5 to 6 page) introduction to Affiliate Project X, what Affiliate Project is and what it isn’t. On pages 6 to 10 the author reiterates the basics of affiliate marketing.
2) Affiliate Project X Methods
Here the author wastes no time getting down to the “Meat and Potatoes” of the subject matter. No fluff or filler here …. just two sentences and straight in at the deep end. The following methods are covered in this section
- Method 1 - The Leech - Pages 11 to 18
- Method 2 - The Affiliate Diary - Pages 18 to 26
- Method 3 - The Workhorse - Pages 27 to 34
- Method 4 - Thief In The Night - Pages 34 to 36
- Method 5 - Copy The Best Pages 36 to 39
- Method 6 - The Opportunist - Pages 39 to 43
3) Affiliate Project X Advanced Tricks
This section covers various advanced topics of the “How To” and “Why You Should” type as well as listing a number of useful resources which will help any budding Affiliate X Project devotee find the necessary information to boost their performance. This section has the following sub-sections:
- Link Cloaking - Masking Your Hoplinks - Page 44
- Tracking Affiliate Sales - Page 44 to 47
- Backend Sales - Adding 30% To Your Affiliate Income - Page 47 to 48
- Underrated Promotion Methods For Affiliates - Page 48 to 49
4) Project X - Where To From Here
This is the final section of Affiliate Project X and is a quick summary of all that has gone before. In his penultimate paragraph the author states that Affiliate Project X is a kind of “work in progress” and he plans to add more information to it in the near future. All I can say is that, as I already have my copy, it looks like I’ll be writing more about Affiliate Project X when he does!!
My opinion (for what it’s worth
):
As stated in the publication, Affiliate Project X is not a complete “How To” with loads of filler and fluff just to make a 500 page report. Afiliate Project X is a good guide to getting started in affiliate marketing which contains useful concepts and resources (some free, some paid for).
Whether you are a seasoned online marketer or just starting out in affiliate marketing I can recommend Affiliate Project X as a good starting point and guide to get you up and running.
